  • Assistant Producer, Louisiana Public Broadcasting, (the Louisiana PBS affiliate.) Duties included script consultation and revision, editing, research, and image license negotiation during the production of the Louisiana History documentary and others.
  • Graduate Editorial Assistant to poet, novelist and NPR commentator Andrei Codrescu at Exquisite Corpse, A Journal of Letters and Life, 1999-2001. Developed Web submission guidelines and Web publishing procedures to migrate the print journal to the Web and was involved in all phases of running the journal, including acquisitions consultation, editing, and proofreading. Also worked closely with Codrescu on the publication of Thus Spake the Corpse (the Exquisite Corpse anthology) V.2, Black Sparrow Press, 2000.
  • Assistant Curator of Photography at the New Orleans Museum of Art.
  • Contributing Editor and Graphic and Layout Artist, Go Gulf magazine. Edited and wrote articles. Created and laid out ads using Quark Xpress and Photoshop. Laid out the entire magazine, edited the photographs, collected the files, and worked with the printing company. Attended industry functions to digitally photograph events, represent the magazine, and report the proceedings.
  • Created and/or maintained Web sites for the LSU Creative Writing Program, Andrei Codrescu, Exquisite Corpse, Readers & Writers, the LSU English Graduate Student Association, author Mark Spitzer, and New Delta Review.
  • Editor, Webmaster and NT Server Administrator, LSU Division of Continuing Education Office of Independent Study, LSU’s distance learning office, 1998. Edited and developed distance learning and online classes.
  • Staff writer for Tribe Magazine, New Orleans. Authored the monthly technology column “Phreakers” along with assorted band interviews, music articles and CD reviews.
  • Five years experience creating graphics, web sites and publications using Adobe Photoshop, Quark Xpress and Dreamweaver. Created logos for companies, graphics for websites, and book covers. Six months experience in all phases of the graphic design and layout of the Gulf of Mexico upstream oil and gas bi-monthly Go Gulf magazine.
